We used this mirror in our extra bathroom. Easy to install and amazing product.The mirror is pretty nice looking until you turn it on and you realize that the light from the LED'S in the back isn't that bright. Would be good as am additional makeup light, but it won't light up the room to well.This mirror is very large which is nice. You have the option of hardwiring it to a switch or using the plug supplied with the mirror. It emits a very soft light which is soothing. The on and off button is actually incorporated into the mirror along with the anti fog button. Both buttons illuminate when they are on. I have to give kudos to the shipper, this was the best packaged item I have ever received from Amazon! We placed this mirror in the bathroom we primarily use at night. We will use the mirror light as a nightlight.When this mirror was delivered we were astounded how well packaged and protected it was! We immediately and quickly installed it and are considering purchasing another for a holiday gift for a family member that does makeup promotion videos. It is very well built and easy to install with the hanging ledge and preinstalled level balance making sure it is hung exactly even on the ledge shelf it comes with. The on/off and defogger button are very “new age” and the defogger automatically turns off in one hour. This mirror is a very “luxury” item in our newly remodeled bath and defiantly adds value for re-sale. I thought I was walking into a high-end luxury resort. The design compliments my décor easily. The bathroom is in the basement so it even works well in a “damp” environment. The lighting feature will either show detail or soft edges, your choice. Easy and fast install was a definite plus.We purchased this for our bathroom. It came packaged securely. It was simple to mount and wire as we just wired it into our existing light switch. The heated square works nice to keep it fog free, but you have to manually turn it on with a touch on the mirror unless you want to leave it on at all times. Edit; the defogger will shut itself off after a period of time. My wife really likes the bright and even lighting for doing her make-up. Overall, we were very pleased with this mirror and would recommend.I love the mirror and the back lighting but the heat factor does not work. Our contractors just installed the two mirrors in our bathrooms when they finished. When the shower is on and a fan with higher CFM's than needed the heat emblem on mirror does work. The mirror is foggy immediately and stays that way. Very disappointed in the product.I’ve been looking for a bathroom mirror for months. I fondly found something that had a lovely edge with LED lights. Super easy to install as well with good directions.
